Open Foundation West Africa would be organizing a Wikimania satellite event for it's community. The reason why we are hosting this event is to ensure community growth and have African representatives at Wikimania 2021 which has gone virtual this year.
Also all regional hubs affiliated to OFWA would also be hosting a satellite event. The code of conduct and friendly space policy would be observed.
Remo
Remo is virtual event platform that would be used in this years wikimania,the platform will enables participants to be fully immersed or engaged in the event. Take a tour on how to use the platform here
OFWA Block
Participate and engage in OFWA's event at Wikimania 2021, thus:
- Leveraging on Local Holidays as a Topical Campaign to Bridge Content Gaps on Wikipedia
- Using Kiwix as a Tool to Enhance Equitable Access to Educational Resources During the Pandemic
