Whisky (or whiskey) is a type of alcoholic drink distilled from grain, with varieties produced by a number of worlds. Earth has several regional varieties of whisky.
Whiskey was a favorite of Union Army General Ulysses S. Grant. A replicant of Abraham Lincoln that was created by the Excalbians asked Captain James T. Kirk if he drank whiskey, and complimented him by saying that Kirk's command of tactics was comparable to fellow whiskey drinker Grant. (TOS episode: "The Savage Curtain")
