Biography[]

Karn was born in the mid-2230s to the Huron House, and was a third or fourth cousin to the Linehead. He gained authoritative expertise in mechanical engineering and electronics technology. By the late 2260s, he was an engineer. (FASA RPG module: Conflict of Interests)

In the year 2268, on reference stardate 2/09, he was one of 200 who settled in the city of Continuity on the Human/Klingon colony of Sheridan's World. (FASA RPG modules: Conflict of Interests, Star Trek IV Sourcebook Update)

He became bonded to Laura Barton and had a child in the 2270s decade, Kravax.

By the 2280s, he had attained the rank of lieutenant and served as a support staff officer for the colony. He was the fifth luckiest of the Klingon colonists, and had the third highest psi quotient.

In 2283, when he was 47 years old, each citizen's vote was taken to decide the colony's future. Karn supported an alliance with the Klingon Empire but if forced to choose another option was slightly more likely to desire an alliance with the Federation over the continued neutrality of Sheridan's World.
