The Galdonterre system was a star system, a type k orange star located in the space of the galaxy's Beta Quadrant, on the Klingon Empire's border.

History and specifics[]

It was the location of a planetary system which included Galdonterre. (ST reference: Star Charts) It was located within the Galdonterre sector of the Gamma Orionis sector block. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)

K'tark mapped this system within the Klingon sphere of influence, but just outside Klingon territory, in the general vicinity of Ya'Vang on his official 2266 star chart of the Imperial Klingon Empire. (ST reference: Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library)

A Federation outpost was located in the system in the late 23rd century, on the planet Galdonterre, known as a lawless port. (TOS novel: Excelsior: Forged in Fire)
