Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! At present the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Discovery and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG, Star Trek: Infinite and Star Trek Online, as well as other post-57th Anniversary publications such as the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). Devore sector 2411

Map of the Devore sector in 2411.

The Devore sector was a region of space, a sector located in the Tekara sector block of the galaxy's Delta Quadrant. This sector was home of the anti-telepathy Devore Imperium (STO - Delta Quadrant mission: "Mindscape", VOY episode: "Counterpoint")

Naming[]

The sector block's name may have been derived from either the Devore species, or their homeworld Devore Prime. (ST reference: Star Charts, STO video game: Delta Rising)

Location[]

Devore sector 2410

Map of the Devore sector in 2410.

This was one of six sectors that became more easily accessible to the AQA powers through the Iconian gateway connecting the Tau Dewa sector block with the Jenolan Dyson Sphere, which had jumped to the neighboring Vyntadi sector block. The Devore sector was the most rimward of the Tekaran sectors. (STO - Delta Quadrant mission: "Mindscape")

This sector lay circa 30.000-50.000 light-years from Sol, spanning at least a ten thousand lightyears in length. (ST reference: Star Charts, STO video game: Delta Rising)

History[]

The spatially lost Federation starship USS Voyager traversed what would later be regarded the Kotaba sector in 2375. Voyager entered the sector after using a Malon-controlled vortex to skip 2.500ly from within the Void to its edge. (ST reference: Star Charts)

In 2410, the AQA poured into the Delta Quadrant after the Jenolan Dyson Sphere jumped there. (STO video game: Delta Rising)

The AQA forged an alliance between the powers besieged by the Vaadwaur Supremacy, the Delta Alliance. Together, the AQA and the Delta Alliance members defeated the Vaadwaur at Vaadwaur Prime. (STO - Delta Quadrant mission: "Takedown")
