In the late-2260s and early 2270s, Lieutenant Commander Carlos was an engineer aboard the Constitution-class Federation starship USS Yorktown, under the command of Commodore Robbins. (TOS comics: "Schism, Issue 2", "Schism, Issue 3")
- Carlos wore the blue uniform tunic of the science department despite working at the bridge engineering station and being addressed as 'engineer'. It is also unclear if Carlos is his given or surname.
