Evan Foster was a 23rd century Human man who was a member of Starfleet in the 2250s and 2260s decades.
Biography[]
Foster rose through the ranks to become the long-time captain of the Federation starship USS Yorktown. His command style was calm, dignified, and understated. He highly excelled in starship command, administration, planetary support tactics, and knowledge of Starfleet regulations. He was also skilled in combat tactics and Federation history.
He'd had several run-ins with Klingons during his career that left him with an unusual bias against them. Having kept himself in peak physical shape through rock climbing and running, in the late 2260s decade he'd gained a few pounds now that he was in his mid-50s. After serving as Yorktown CO since 2254, rumors in 2269 suggested that he might soon retire from starship command. (Last Unicorn RPG module: Star Trek: The Original Series Core Game Book)
In the year 2269, Foster beamed down with a landing party to the destroyed outpost of Glenconner on Sicon Prime. He then led a team to investigate Klingon and Human lifesigns on Sicon III, resulting in their capture and detainment by Danurian Augments in Serenity Settlement.
