—Dr. Wily activating the Steel Devil

The "Steel Devil" is the fan name for the unidentified giant Devil-like robot that Dr. Wily uses in the climax of the Mega Man comic book series by Dreamwave Productions. While "Steel Devil" originated as a fan term, it was referred to as the Steel Devil in official capacity as part of it's cameo in the Archie comics.

The exact size is a bit uncertain, but comparison between it and the tiny Mega Man and Proto Man at its feet (they're the red and blue dots in that yellow circle of astonishment to the right) suggests that it may be bigger than Gamma by a fair amount.

The Steel Devil is highly destructive as its initial activation was enough to obliterate the entire amusement park that Dr. Wily had been using as a hideout. Only the combined efforts of Mega Man and Proto Man were able to rescue Dr. Light from within and defeat the behemoth.

• The Steel Devil appeared in the Short Circuits for Issue 55 of the Archie Comics Mega Man series alongside several other Devil robots. This makes it the only Dreamwave-exclusive character/robot to appear in the Archie Comics.
