Secret File (シークレットファイル Shīkuretto Fairu) is a series of booklets with 12 pages published by Capcom between 1996-1999 in 26 volumes, a deluxe volume on 1997, and an extra volume on January 2010. The booklets featured special content from a specific arcade game like development details and parodies, which include Rockman 2: The Power Fighters and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes. All Secret Files from no. 2-28 contain one illustration of Rockman and Rush by Sakura.

Rockman V (Versus): Taiketsu! Dr. Marvel (ロックマンV(バーサス) 対決!Dr.マーベノレ "Rockman V (Versus): Confrontation! Dr. Marvel") is a parody ad of Marvel vs. Capcom included in Secret File #18. The game's main enemies are the unseen Dr. Marvel as ten robots based on Marvel and Capcom characters:

  • Hadou Man (ハドウマン derived from Hadouken) - Based on Ryu.
  • Kumo Man (クモマン lit. "Spider Man") - Based on Spider-Man.
  • Taichō Man (タイチョーマン lit. "Commander Man") - Based on Captain Commando.
  • Doku Man (ドクマン lit. "Venom Man") - Based on Venom.
  • Tsume Man (ツメマン lit. "Claw Man") - Based on Wolverine.
  • Oiroke Man (オイロケマン "Sexy Man") - Based on Morrigan Aensland.
  • Nazo no Ninja Robo (謎のニンジャロボ "Enigmatic Ninja Robo") - Based on Strider Hiryu.
  • Meriken Man (メリケンマン) - Based on Captain America. In the past, "American" was commonly translated as "Meriken" in Japan. The translation is still present in some names, like Meriken Park.
  • Nagehame Man (ナゲハ��マン approximately "Destructive Throw Man") - Based on Zangief.
  • Mr. Monami (Mr.モナミ derived from the French "Mon Ami", meaning "My Friend") - Based on Gambit.
