Dr. Froid's son is a minor character from Mega Man Battle Network.

Due to his very minor role in the game, this character doesn't have his own unique sprite or mugshot and only his last name (Froid) is mentioned.
His father Dr. Froid, who works at the Waterworks, is manipulated into cooperating with the WWW when Froid's son is kidnapped by Ms. Madd and she uses his safety as leverage. Yai noticed that a kid from school was missing and e-mailed Lan to help search for him. When Lan found him he asks Lan to help his dad. Froid's son hasn't appeared in the series since then.

Tory in the anime
In the MegaMan NT Warrior anime series, Froid's son was given a significantly larger role as the character Tory Froid and given a unique character design, and was a main character in the first season, becoming a recurring character in the seasons after. He shares operation of IceMan with his father, and Dr. Froid's role in the games is given to Tory, in that Dr. Froid is the one who Maddy takes hostage and Tory is the open forced to sabotage the Water Works plant.
A recurring joke in later seasons is the Tory is often left out of things Lan and their friends are doing, often arriving mere moments after the group has set off on their adventure.
