Comic BomBom (コミックボンボン Komikku Bonbon) was a Japanese monthly children's manga magazine published by Kodansha. It was first launched on October 15, 1981 in response to the monthly CoroCoro Comic (Shogakukan), and ceased publication in 2007, being replaced by Monthly Shōnen Rival. A web version of the magazine has been published since the end of July 2017 on Pixiv Comic.
The magazine was known for creating a boom by serializing features and manga based on popular works such as Transformers, SD Gundam, Mega Man, Super Mario, and Godzilla, along with original works. Although the magazine's policy was to target children and young readers, it sometimes published manga with heavy content and impact, such as violent or philosophical elements. In addition, due to the sales department's judgment of potential sales, many of the works serialized in the magazine, such as Rockman X4 and Rockman 8, would not have all of their chapters compiled into standalone tankōbon releases until they were reprinted by companies such as fukkan.com and Kodansha themselves.
