Lizard is the animalistic alter-ego of S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist Curt Connors.
History[]

At some point, Connors went to work for S.H.I.E.L.D. designed technology and gadgets. When he met Spider-Man, he pretended to be missing his right hand. The wallcrawler then brought Connors part of Doctor Octopus's tentacles to study.
He eventually turned himself into a large lizard-like creature thanks to a formula created by Doctor Octopus.
Background[]
Dr. Connors was voiced by Tom Kenny and then by Dee Bradley Baker. Baker previously played the character on The Spectacular Spider-Man.

Is a biologist.
Lost his right arm while working as a surgeon in the U.S. Army.
Connors created the lizard formula himself.
