- This story is isochronic with a previously untold Captain America adventure. The previous story occurred between Captain America #102 and Captain America #103. The 2001 adventure actually occurs in the future (note the 1998 publishing date of this issue), after Steve Rogers has met and begun a relationship with Connie Ferrari. In this issue, Ferrari is referred to only as "Connie".
