Peach Beach

Peach Beach is the second track of the Mushroom Cup in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. This track makes a retro appearance in Mario Kart Wii as the first track in the Shell Cup. It is the prequel to Daisy Cruiser.

The track takes place on a beach outside a town at Isle Delfino, as there are Piantas as spectators here. This course belongs to Princess Peach.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!![]

Being the first track to take place on Isle Delfino (the second being Delfino Square), Peach Beach is pretty much a flat course. It's main features are the tide, which can conceal a semi-shortcut at certain moments, and the Cataquacks, creatures that launch racers high into the air on contact. Driving over the water slows racers down (unless they use a Boost item), but the areas far away from the shore count as out of bounds, which can be a problem if you didn't notice and this may ruin some of the race for you. There is also an accessible pipe that grants racers a Double Item Box.

Racers start on a path outside a town to their left, with several spectators cheering them on. The track starts off with a straightaway that ends of with a wide right turn that goes downwards onto the shore. Next is two different paths to choose from: The path of the right is a very wide part of the beach that bends to the left, and the path on the left goes past the shore that has a Dash Panel ramp and a small portion of grass with a palm tree. There are Cataquacks roaming this section. When the paths merge there is a huge pink arch with three legs with one of them being outside of the track. The track then curves right, then left, and then right again, taking racers back to the path they started upon. They then go upwards on a straightaway back to the Finish Line.

This area is where the Award Ceremony takes place. Also, Daisy Cruiser can be seen in the background.

Mario Kart Wii[]

In Mario Kart Wii it reuses much of the track's aesthetics, but this time the water slows racers down a lot more.

Shortcuts[]

• At the beginning of the track, drift left to enter a pipe. This will take you into the air to get an item box. This, however, is not worth it since you will be in 8th place or something but you won't be too far behind and you'll easily be able to catch up and you'll also get a Double Item Box from the Pipe which will get you two really good items.^{✱ for MKDD}
• You can use a Mushroom to cut through the light blue water.^{✱ for all games}
• Back up, and use a Mushroom to clip to a palm tree. It will count the lap. This is actually a glitch.^{✱ for MKWii}
