Slurples (also called Swoopin' Poinks) are health-sucking space leeches that appear in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 as common enemies. They attack by attaching themselves to Mario (or Luigi) and slowly sucking at their health. They can easily be defeated with a shake of the Wii Remote. Defeating them will release 1 Star Bit. They appear to be related to Poinks and Swoopin' Stus.
