Gameplay[]

The player controls Wario, who is piloting a spaceship below a group of flying UFOs hovering around at varying speeds. The objective is to shoot all every UFO using the spaceship's remaining laser blasts. Once every UFO has been destroyed, the player wins at the microgame. If Wario fails to shoot a UFO, his spaceship explodes, causing the player to lose the microgame as a result. Another way for them to lose is if Wario does not shoot every UFO on time.

The first, second, and third difficulty levels feature one, two, and three UFOs respectively.

Trivia[]

• The Mario Artist: Polygon Studio minigame "SHOOT" serves as the precursor of Repellion, and it has similar gameplay.
• The microgame's name is a portmanteau of "rebel" and "rebellion."
