Noko Bombette is a variant of Bombshell Koopa featured as one of the enemies in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. A Noko Bombette wears an explosive Buzzy Shell, and it is also a variant of a Buzzy Beetle. Noko Bombettes are only encountered in the level In the Trees.
To defeat a Noko Bombette, Mario has to stomp it, as doing so causes the Noko Bombette's shell to explode after a few seconds. However, if Mario is caught within the blast radius, he takes damage. A Noko Bombette's shell makes it invulnerable to Fire Mario's fireballs, which somehow does not ignite the fuse on the back of a Noko Bombette's shell. Unlike Buzzy Beetles but like Red Koopa Troopas from other 2D Super Mario titles, a Noko Bombette turns around upon reaching a ledge and starts moving the other direction.
