The Ghost Portrificationizer is an invention of Professor E. Gadd's which appears in Luigi's Mansion and its Nintendo 3DS version.

The Ghost Portrificationizer works in conjunction with the Poltergust 3000. On the left end of the machine, the Poltergust 3000 can be attached to release ghosts into it. The Ghost Portrificationizer takes Portrait Ghosts in particular and converts them into portraits to be hung in the Gallery. The machine also works in reverse, as shown during the ending, in which Luigi used the Ghost Portrificationizer to free Mario from the painting he had been trapped in by King Boo.
