Burt the Ball is a minor character who lives in Chilly-Hot Isles in Yoshi's Crafted World. He is actually an alternate form of Burt the Bashful when he was transformed into a sentient beach ball and encased inside Bowser Jr.'s ball. In this form, Burt has a similar appearance to his regular appearance, albeit with a blue whistle on him and as a beach ball.

History[]

When Kamek wakes him up, Burt tears out of the beach ball and inflates. He puts on his pants (which were dropped during his transformation into a ball and landed in the pool that hosts the battle) and begins the battle.

Burt attacks by hopping from one side of the platform to the other. His next attack has him summon Bumpties by blowing on a whistle. Yoshi must use his tongue to turn one Bumpty into an egg and toss it at Burt when the latter hops to the platform. After he gets hit, Burt will fall. Yoshi must smash Burt's weak point (his rump) to deal damage. Directly after the first two times, Burt counterattacks by summoning Beach Burts to knock balls onto the platform. These balls can hurt any Yoshi that stands in their way. Burt's hop attack also changes, becoming much harder to dodge, and sometimes tilting the platform. Damage equal to three Ground Pounds dealt to his rump defeats him. Once Yoshi defeats him, he loses his pants and deflates to escape public humiliation, complete with him turning a reddish colour.
