The 1-Up Mushroom Cup is a type of tournament in Mario Tennis Open. It is the first cup for the Star Open tournament series, and it can be unlocked by completing the Champions Cup in the World Open series. For the 1-Up Mushroom Cup, the character compete on the Peach's Palace court.
The 1-Up Mushroom Cup appears to have been inspired by the Mushroom Cup, since both have a type of Mushroom as a symbol and are the first cup of their respective tournament series.
