Dr. M is the main antagonist in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, who serves as the final boss in addition to the crux of the plot. He operates on Kaine Island where the Cooper Vault is located and is obsessed with cracking it. Wanting to reclaim his family's legacy and treasure, Sly expands the Cooper Gang to include new members. He is a dark reflection of Sly's best friend Bentley who came to believe that Sly's father Connor never really cared about him while Bentley always believed in Sly as both an equal and true friend.

He was voiced by the late Rick May.

What Makes Him Magnificent?[]

• He was a former member of the original Cooper Gang that manages to get away since their first heist.
• He showed himself to be the most intelligent of all villains besides Bentley.
• He gained the deed for Kaine Island and the Cooper Vault to turn it into an impenetrable fortress and sets up all kinds of traps in it.
• He showed lots of respect to Bentley and saw him as his equal.
• He manages to outsmart the Cooper Gang on some occasions, such as when he got away from Dimitri after he defeated him.
• After he got defeated, he manages to set up a tracking device on Sly's cane to track him down into the Cooper Vault.
• He seems to put up a good fight with the Cooper gang in four of his boss fights so far.
• While he had a villainous breakdown at the end, it is pretty tame compared to other Sly villains that had it. Especially since it showed he succeeded in finding the cooper vault.
• Despite being envious of Connor's legacy, it is pretty pragmatic compared to Clockwerk and Le Paradox. and he didn't do any brutal crimes to prove his point when compared to the power-hungry tyrant in the same game General Tsao.

What Makes Him a Baddie?[]

• It is implied that he alerted Clockwerk and the rest of the fiendish five to kill Connor Cooper.
• He attempted to break into the Cooper Vault to steal all of Connor's fortune. However, he does point out that he legally owned Kaine Island and, by extension, the treasure.
• He attempted to kill Sly on some occasions, such as when he tried to crush him to death with his giant monster.
• He killed one of his goons by poisoning them for forgetting to put in a new password.
• When Carmelita showed up during the final battle, he attempted to kill her by blasting her, not before Sly jumped in to take the shot.
