High Grade Macross

High Grade Macross (HGM) is a line of 1/100 scale plastic model kits of the Variable Fighters of the Macross meta series by Bandai Spirits. The kits do not feature perfect transformation; instead, they use the Shortcut Change (ショートカットチェンジ, Shōtokatto Chenji) system, which involves quick parts-swapping between Fighter, Gerwalk, and Battroid modes. Nevertheless, they feature unprecedented detail, proportions, and articulation compared to other Macross kits within the same scale.^[1]
