Welcome to WikiProject Coldplay. Several Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of Coldplay and the organisation of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources.

It is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. WikiProject Coldplay was founded on 25 March 2013 by User:Smileguy91. It aims to improve and maximize on Wikipedia's coverage of the British rock band Coldplay. Full goals and guidelines of WikiProject Coldplay can be found at #Guidelines.

This project is dedicated to improving the quality of writing and the amount of information for all Coldplay-related articles on Wikipedia, including:

• Coldplay's career and work.
• Articles related to Coldplay achievements.
• Subjects directly related to Coldplay.
• Subjects that have achieved a significant part of their notability through their connection to Coldplay.

• The project covers all articles in the Coldplay category and its sub-categories.

Here are some tasks awaiting attention: Cleanup : "Viva la Vida" article. Copyedit : Coldplay history section. Expand : All song-related articles. Other : Tagging as many pages as possible.

• A main goal of WikiProject Coldplay is fighting vandalism on Coldplay pages, they have one of the most vandalized pages on Wikipedia.
• Make sure all pages within WikiProject Coldplay's scope are properly cited.
• All pages shall be in British English. See Comparison of American and British English for details.
• Vandals should be warned immediately after vandalism is discovered with the template {{Subst:uwvandalism1}} (mild warning).
• Be sure to distinguish between vandalism and bold editing. For more information on this, see WP:NOTVAND.
• Do not bite the newcomers! See WP:NEWCOMER for more details.
• All articles should follow WP:MOS.
• Please refrain from edit warring and remember to follow the 3RR (three-revert) rule! To report edit warring, visit WP:AN3.
