List of deceased cardinals

Given the size and scope of the Catholic Church, there are literally thousands of cardinals who could be listed here. The inability to maintain such a list, as well as the list's uselessness(List of cardinals includes all living cardinals, so by definition any cardinal not listed there is deceased) clearly qualifies this article for deletion. Categorise into Category:Cardinals and subcats, then delete. As Hemlock has stated, there are thousands of possible entires, and the list will continue to expand for as long as the Catholic Church exists (and beyond, as the last ones fall). -- saberwyn 03:20, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
