- Delete Claims of notability appear to be limited to 1) being one of the 300+ people on USS Liberty during the USS Liberty incident, 2) being (or having been, timing unclear) the president of the USS Liberty veteran's association and 3) having been present during the Gaza flotilla raid. While events #1 and #3 are notable, I don't see how this person in particular is. For #2, no indicia that the association would be notable, never mind its president. The sourcing situation is bad, with 3 refs to SPS and/or non-independent memorial sites/veterans associations. The Salem-News story is only a passing mention. Can't verify the remaining two sources. Searching for additional sources, the only things I could find were passing mentions in CNN and Irish Examiner news stories related to the larger events he witnessed. –Ljleppan (talk) 12:12, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
