Thank you

Thank you for catching my edit error on the 8 team bracket template. Small but significant lapse in judgement on my part. RedBlueGreen93 (talk) 09:07, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:22, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Table in Floorball

[edit]

Why did you change my table in the 2024 Men's World Floorball Championships? ILoveSport2006 (talk) 10:09, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What "table" do you mean? Don't you rather mean the map? Prikryl (talk) 14:50, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I mean the map. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 16:28, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've explained the change in the edit summary (something you hardly ever do): All WFC maps in other articles use the same color scheme – so I have changed the map to follow that.
Also I'm sure you have based your map on File:World map (Miller cylindrical projection, blank without Antarctica).svg (or its derivative), while breaking its "Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike" license – "Under the following conditions: attribution – You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license...". Prikryl (talk) 09:03, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Look, I probably overreacted earlier, but when you give me advice, can you not say extra comments that are unneeded. I'm all for constructive criticism, just don't say comments like (something you hardly ever do) etc, because that will rub me the wrong way. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 12:39, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2024–25 Men's Floorball Champions Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kirchberg. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 19:56, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
