DYK for Fannie Salter
[edit]On 6 September 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Fannie Salter, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Fannie Salter (pictured) was personally appointed keeper of Turkey Point Light by U.S. president Calvin Coolidge? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Fannie Salter. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Fannie Salter), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

- Lovely work on this article - I created it ages and ages ago. Never thought there was that much to say about her beyond what was in some of the hardcore lighthouse literature. Somewhere around here I have a picture of her grave, which I thought I had uploaded to Commons, but evidently have not yet. I'll get to it in the near term, I think. Meantime have a picture of the post office in Susan, which is just down the road from the church where she's buried...it's not much, but it's a cute little building. :-)
- Happy editing! --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 19:01, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you so much! I will admit that I now know more about a random lighthouse in Maryland than I ever thought I would. I'll have to pay a visit one day. Fannie seemed like a tough lady, and the more I researched her the more amazing her feats became.
- It's an adorable building! And yes, please do add a picture of her grave to the Commons when you are able. I think it would really bring tie a bow on the article. Lindsey40186 (talk) 13:09, 28 March 2023 (UTC)

Spacing
[edit]Please do not make edits to articles that only change the spacing in the article source code, as you recently did at Prime number. It makes absolutely no difference to the appearance of the article, and only serves to waste the time of other editors checking that your change did not introduce problems. —David Eppstein (talk) 18:55, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for the copyediting!
[edit]Hello! I feel a little weird thanking another edit for their edits—obviously I don't want to come across as though I think I own an article—but I thought an exception was warranted for your edits on 1984 New York City Subway shooting. I'd been working on that article for a while in conjunction with a good-article reviewer, and I'm actually quite embarrassed at the "hopital" typo (which, not only did I miss, but I'm certain I introduced!). But what I really wanted to give you a shoutout for was your use of two templates—Template:Inflation and Template:Define—I hadn't seen before and that I now know to use! Always exiting to learn about new tools. Great work.--Jerome Frank Disciple (talk) 15:01, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
- No need to thank me, though it's certainly appreciated! It's all part of being an editor. I've worked on my own Good Article not too long ago, and know that we can stare at these words for so long that we go blind to some errors. Having an outside pair of eyes give things a once over is always helpful :)
- Happy editing! Lindsey40186 (talk) 16:31, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

can you stop editing daya saran sinha. He is my father so, I think I know more about him than you, so if you cant or are unable to read something in his page does not mean it’s unnecessary or unrelated.
Also everything in the page cannot be cited as I have taken photos of hard copies and uploaded them & stop deleting names from infobox template.
If you want to connect with me or discuss this in detail leave a message on my talk page or email me at elsleaderop@gmail.com.
Thanks. Hope you understand how frustrating it is;)

- @LeaderEditor you shouldn't be editing a family members page as that's considered a conflict of interest by Wikipedia.
- This site is meant to relay important and relevant information on a subject and what they are most known for. It's not a repository of photographs or a flowery obituary. The website makes this very clear on the MOS pages. Lindsey40186 (talk) 22:17, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
