A barnstar for you!
[edit]The Special Barnstar | |
For 1) being a terrific admin on slwiki, 2) fighting vandalism (local and cross-wiki) and 3) being a pleasure to chat with on Discord and Reddit. I can't help but give you a barnstar cause well, you deserve one. — Prodraxis {talk • contributions} (she/her) 02:14, 4 July 2023 (UTC) |
- @Prodraxis: Thanks for the barnstar! (It was the first one in a long time ;) Didn’t know you adore me that much as you even called me “teriffic”. A09 (talk) 08:21, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
Merge proposal
[edit]I am curious as to how you found this merge proposal. I have not found a notice of the proposal on either article page or the corresponding talk pages. In any case, the proposal is ill-formed, and will be ignored. Donald Albury 21:13, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Donald Albury: Found it through Special:RecentChanges as I filtered by IP contribs on user talks. I have no connection to IP. A09 (talk) 21:17, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. No problem, I just wondered if I had missed a notice. I think the IP is well-intentioned, but inexperienced. Donald Albury 21:28, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
DYK for Nikova
[edit]On 14 November 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Nikova, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that historically, native mercury was extracted from rocks mined in Idrija by washing them in the stream Nikova? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Nikova. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Nikova), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Restoration of Wikiquote templates = ban evasion?
[edit]Regarding your reverts made today to edits by 217.140.200.204 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log), can you explain why you think this is an editor evading a ban? —C.Fred (talk) 20:53, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
- @C.Fred: Edits are by Risto hot sir, who is not logged in. Locked account and locally blocked with numerous socks here on enwiki as well. Best, A09|(talk) 20:54, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
- Yep, I found enough history on one article to trace it back to the original account. It caught me off guard, because adding the Wikiquote template appeared to be constructive. —C.Fred (talk) 20:56, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
- No problem! Glad I could explain. Have a nice day/evening, A09|(talk) 20:57, 27 May 2024 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted
[edit]Hi A09, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle, configure it to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! Hey man im josh (talk) 16:09, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
- Many thanks! A09|(talk) 16:10, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
Hello, A09,
It looks like you tried to rename this account but you neglected to move all of their user pages to those of their new username. I gather that this is a new responsibility you just took on? This is not a good start. Please review all policy and instruction pages for being a renamer and follow all of the steps when you renamv an account, including moving over all of their user pages and setting up redirects from those of their former username to those of their new account. If you have questions, please ask a renamer who has morv experience than yourself. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 16:23, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Liz: This has never happened to me before. Thanks for informing me. User pages are moved automatically, there might have been some sort of shenanigans I am only partially of fault here. Will respond back. Best, A09|(talk) 16:25, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
- Cleaned up Thanks for you information, but still no clue on what had happened. A09|(talk) 16:31, 20 July 2024 (UTC)

EFH granted
[edit]Hello A09. Your account has been granted the "Edit filter helper" user right, either following a request at the SPI Clerks' noticeboard, or Edit filter noticeboard. Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Edit filter helper for more information on this user right. If you do not want the edit filter helper right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! Elli (talk | contribs) 16:44, 13 September 2024 (UTC)}}
Why did you revert my comments in the Discussion Pages?
[edit]Yesterday? It's not "off-topic" when the word I am talking about is in the title and the lede of the Article. It couldn't possibly be MORE on topic. Further, I've read your account's focus. Something-something Slovenia. Is English your first language? How proficient are you at English? Do you understand nuance of meaning?66.25.69.185 (talk) 17:40, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
- They were outside of scope of talkpages, which are meant for article improvment, not for spreading different theories and alike. See WP:NOTFORUM Where I am based and what languages do I speak is completely irrelevant. A09|(talk) 17:46, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
