Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, The Stand (1994 miniseries), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 19:43, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Doniago,
Here's Jeff Goldblum's IMDB where it confirmed he was the voice of the radio announcer in the miniseries, plus he was the host of PBS/ Future Quest series back in 1994: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000156/?ref_=nmbio_ov_i So please do feel free to update his article for those two in his television filmography segment as well as The Stand (1994 miniseries). Thanks! 67.43.190.226 (talk) 19:55, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
WP:RS/IMDb - IMDb isn't a reliable source. If you can provide another source, you're welcome to update the article again with that source. Cheers. DonIago (talk) 20:17, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
unfortunately there is no sources (other than blogs, imdb, and Jeff Goldblum Movie Club fan site) where it says so while LA Times confirmed him as host of PBS' Future Quest show in 1994: https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1994-09-11-tv-37026-story.html Since I don't have an wikipedia account, I like you to take the honor to add it on his television filmography list. Cheers. 67.43.190.226 (talk) 20:28, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Future Quest would pretty much do since the LA Times article indicated him as the host. 67.43.190.226 (talk) 20:37, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'd be reluctant to add that show given that Wikipedia doesn't appear to have an article about it; is it possible that in the end it was canceled before it ever aired? DonIago (talk) 02:09, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Good morning Donlago or Doniago,
Apologies for late reply due to not having a computer available. You can find Future Quest episodes on YouTube or anywhere else in the links below:
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=future+quest+jeff+goldblum
https://therokuchannel.roku.com/details/a2f10df518cc5db98156c491fbdfd043/future-quest
https://reelgood.com/show/futurequest-1994
https://tubitv.com/series/300009375/future-quest
It lasted for only one season and 22 episodes unfortunately probably most prefer him as an actor than a host/narrator, and the fact that it was most likely a primetime educational series since not all are into educational stuff like kids are (since there were PBS Kids shows at the time), but I must say he has done a pretty good job with the show for PBS as a host/narrator. You can really tell it is all so 90s given the fact that it lasted from 1994 to 1995, and that he did the show after Jurassic Park and probably finished voice overs in The Stand miniseries. Would be awesome if Future Quest could get home video releases since it is available for streaming. Cheers! 67.43.190.226 (talk) 17:50, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you're welcome to update Jeff Goldblum to mention the series with a reliable source even if the show itself doesn't have an article; I'd recommend something that explicitly states (in prose) that he was the narrator/hose for the show rather than simply linking to episodes of it. Cheers. DonIago (talk) 19:13, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
