I am a former Habitat for Humanity construction supervisor in Washington, D.C., and admin for state student leadership program in Washington. Currently I am a substitute and para-educator. I grew up and currently live in Packwood,Washington, which is nestled in the upper reaches of the Cowlitz Valley between Mt. RainierMt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams. I attended the University of Idaho where I received a BA in Classical Studies. Upon graduation, I spent two years in the AmeriCorps program, first tutoring Jr/Sr high school students at the high school I had attended, then to Habitat for Humanity in Washington, DC. I have purchased and began developing my eventual home site, and am the author and primary sponsor of the effort to encode the Duployan shorthand in Unicode, which was added in version 7.0 of the Unicode Standard, June 2014.
