Zhen Bi (147-221) was an officer of Later Han during the Three Kingdoms era of China. He was the retold father of Lady Zhen, also known as Zhen Luo or Zhen Ji (as in Koei's Dynasty Warriors).

Early Life

Zhen Bi was born in Qiao County. Zhen Bi began his career in the Imperial Army. He served as a chancellor under Emperor Ling. He served very bravelly in militiary asspects. When Emperor Ling passed away in 189, Yuan Shao forced Zhen Bi to give away his beloved daughter to Yuan Shao's son, Yuan Xi. Nothing else is known about his early life.

Servitude to Lu Bu

Zhen Bi turned to Yuan Shu when his family was taken away. He was offered a place under Ji Ling when Sun Ce invaded. When Yuan Shu used the Imperial Seal to created his short-lived dynasty, Zhen Bi escaped this long-lasting torture and defected his small force to Lu Bu. When he arrived in Lu Bu's court, he was offered a place under Gao Shun. He offered Lu Bu if he could attack Xiao Pei, but he was refused. Upon this, Liu Bei's men arrived at the surface of Xiao Pei. Upset with this, he awaited for the enemy commander Cao Cao to take seige on Xia Pi where he offerly surrendered.

Servitude to Cao Cao

Zhen Bi stayed in Chang'an with Cao Cao. In 200, Cao Cao and Yuan Shao were in engaged combat at Guandu. Zhen Bi, knowing his daughter, Zhen Luo was with the enemy, hid from the enemy forces. However, after a while Yuan Shao fled and eventually died in 202. Yuan Shao's sons engaged in combat with eachother, so Cao Cao used this as a chance to strike. Zhen Luo, who was in Ye'cheng at the time, was attacked by Yu Jin's invading force. Cao Cao's eldest son, Cao Pi forced her into marriage upon seeing her. Thus, Zhen Bi decided to lead an assualt. After Cao Cao was defeated at Red Cliffs, he used this as a time of defection to Sun Quan, the leader of Eastern Wu.
