Toot Hill School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form, located in Bingham in the English county of Nottinghamshire, built in 1969. The school is a member of Nova Education Trust.
History
[edit]1989 arson attack
[edit]On Tuesday 8 August 1989 at 10pm, in an arson attack, six classrooms were destroyed, in a single-storey part of the school, for History and Religious Studies, with headmaster John Eagles. It cost £250,000. Firemen attended from Bingham and West Bridgford, who took half hour to put the fire out. It was investigated by West Bridgford CID, and Detective Superintendent Jim Smith and Detective Inspector Dave Blacknall.[1][2][3][4]
