Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."
From what I gather from your talk page is that you're particularly interested in film. Fantastic that you're putting so much effort into working on articles. What I also see is that you've been asked to provide edit summaries, which is an easy way to communicate with your fellow editors. Especially when reverting, it's a friendly gesture to explain why you think someone else made a mistake or made an incorrect edit. You've been blocked for edit warring and been warned not to portray WP:OWNERSHIP. You might've started this navbox, by no means is it yours. So please, remove all non-linked entries in this navbox. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK03:53, 22 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I’ve managed to shorten all out but i’ll put them back once they go into post-production. The marvel game stays due to the trailer that has been announced. The rest that has been released will be worked on later. BMA-Nation2020 (talk) 14:27, 22 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @BMA-Nation2020:, thanks for your reply and removing some entries. It's still not following navbox guides though. A navbox navigates between existing articles. If there's an upcoming game based upon the Marvel properties of Captain America and Black Panther, that should have an article and that should be listed here, not three links to the company Marvel Entertainment and the characters/comic books of Captain America and Black Panther. That there's been a trailer doesn't matter. No article means no link means not appearing in a navbox. Furthermore, it has several redirects. Untitled Ben Affleck/Nike film for instance redirects to Nike, Inc. and doesn't mention the film project at all. Ray Gunn redirects to Brad Bird#Recent events (2019–present), and again no mention of Ray Gunn. Those kind of links have to go too. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK13:16, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There are drafts being worked on. They will be done once some news comes up. Plus, due to the nike film finished in post-production, im waiting on a draft to be finished. Already submit it and waiting it to reply back. BMA-Nation2020 (talk) 13:49, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@BMA-Nation2020: Please stop edit-warring. I have thoroughly explained my changes to this navbox here, and also linked WP:IJUSTDONTLIKEIT to let you know that is not a valid reason to contest someone's edit, and yet you have now reverted three times with the explanations It does not have to be like that, it have to be this and it’s better like this. It appears you are also engaging in WP:OWN behavior, which is contrary to the spirit of Wikipedia. Collaboration is required to achieve consensus, please explain below how the current version is superior to this. InfiniteNexus (talk) 20:54, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
already been discussed over this for the template and stuff. soetermans told me about it and i follow my own guidelines. WP:IJUSTDONTLIKEIT doesn't count on my side. Nor WP:OWN. I see it how it is and reworking it to your standards is the only way to make you satafied. and i wish i could stop but it's the same thing every time! I'm already having a rough morning and i don't wanna have a rough afternoon dealing with this. BMA-Nation2020 (talk) 20:56, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not advocating for my changes because it looks better to me, I've already explained in depth how they would make the navbox cleaner and less confusing. The section links and non-articles also go directly against WP:NAVBOX, which stipulates that every item on navbox must have its own article. Not a section on an article, not a redirect, not a redlink, and definitely not a non-link. As for the other stuff, the general rule of thumb on navboxes is to avoid sections with only one entry, because it just creates whitespace and unnecessarily makes the template larger. Navboxes are intended to aid readers in navigating between articles, so navboxes should be organized as simply and cleanly as possible. InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:20, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
BMA-Nation2020, please read my comment directly above this and lay out the specific reasons why you object to my changes (not "because it's better" or "because I don't like it"). Thank you. InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:25, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
i was specific! My mind's clear and i don't want any options on how the template looks. It's not a Paramount company, it doesn't count as WP:IJUSTDONTLIKEIT, and there are two Skydance shows in draft right now! One being the Checkup with David Agus and the other being from Aisha Tyler! I wish i would get them down soon, but Checkup with David Agus is still in submission! I'm doing my best to keep this template find and steady and every user like you doesn't like how it is for Skydance and any page of the wiki! It's all the same thing every time! BMA-Nation2020 (talk) 21:28, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
i don't want any options on how the template looks BMA, you must be open to other editors' opinions. Kindly read WP:CONSENSUS to see why consensus-building is important. Repeatedly refusing to discuss with others meaningfully is considered disruptive. It would appear that your primary objection is my removal of non-links from the navbox. The purpose of navboxes is to aid navigation among existing articles, see WP:EXISTING. You are welcome to add those links after the drafts have been moved to the mainspace, but not until then. Also, you have yet to address my other concerns, namely cleanliness/readability and ease of navigation. InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:47, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
i understand the whole drafts have been moved. One is waiting around but the other isn't since it's a work in progress. While you were busy, i managed to make a few changes to it. Franchise goes on top, the rest, the same. And yes, PWND is still a drafted thing. I already got it ready but no one has accepted it yet. BMA-Nation2020 (talk) 21:49, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The AfC process can take weeks, if not months, and drafts are not guaranteed to be approved. There is WP:NORUSH to get those pages to the mainspace. Until those drafts are moved (by an AfC reviewer), they should not be linked here. I'm fine with the Franchises change, and I see you've restored the Films section, but the Teleivison section is still confusing (why aren't the upcoming live-action projects grouped together with the live-action projects that have been released?), and the Games section still unnnecessarily splits the Interactive section into three rows. InfiniteNexus (talk) 22:16, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cause three games are made from the ground up and two were made for the Walking Dead. Both chapter 1 and 2 of Saints and Sinners. If there was a new WD game or a thrid chapter, it would make sense. Either way, some franchise made by Skydance is different than what it seems to be. BMA-Nation2020 (talk) 22:57, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
