1981 Variant

[edit]

There was another variant which came out in a pcoket version in 1981, called Tri-Chess. Does anyone know anything else about it?Leutha (talk) 08:10, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

According to Pritchard's encyclopedias there is a 3-player circular chess variant by that name invented in 1981 by Steve Preston. Each player has the usual 8 pieces, but 16 pawns. (Is that the one? If so, it is not yet mentioned at article Three-player chess, but could easily be.) Ihardlythinkso (talk) 08:54, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
