'Medieval origins' in criticism section

The word 'medieval' doesn't seem to fit quite right, 'fantasy historical' might be better? Most of the books concerned with the watch seem to fit a more renaissance to Victorian period historical allegory. 86.17.173.183 (talk) 18:38, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I changed it slightly, the source says "a mostly pre-industrial world that's roughly analogous to medieval times" so you would need to find WP:reliable sources describing Discworld as "fantasy historical" etc to change that label here. But I agree the medieval label does not fit even though Guards Guards have a more medieval atmosphere than for example Going Postal and books after that.
