Which Sophie Masson
[edit]Is the Pont Sophie-Masson across the Rivière des Mille Îles named after her, or is there another Sophie Masson? Peter Horn User talk 01:17, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- Given that the bridge carries a road which was given the name "Montée Masson" in the early 18th Century, the bridge was almost certainly named after someone who lived in that region in that era. -- Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 01:46, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- This blog suggests the bridge (the one built in 2009, not the older structure it replaced) was named after someone who lived in the area in the mid-19th Century. -- Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 01:51, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- So Sophie Masson should eventually become a {{tl:disamb}} page so as to accomodate this widow and/or her seigneur husband. Peter Horn User talk 23:32, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- "Bingo", there is an article about the widow's husband Joseph Masson. Peter Horn User talk 00:01, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
