Phenols are not Alcohols!
[edit]Why is this article tagged as an "Alcohol Stub"? It is not the first time I found the misconception of phenols beeing alcohols on Wikipedia. Phenols are not alcohols, though both classes of organic substances do have hydroxyl functional group; phenols are hydroxyarenes, alcohols are all other hydroxycarbons.--84.163.94.120 09:29, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
