MCV = CTW ?
[edit]I read a reference to "CTW magazine" on an 1994 issue of a French videogame magazine. Wasn't CTW the former name for MCV ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hell Pé (talk • contribs) 18:10, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- As far as I remember the original is German MCV (Markt für Computer- und Videospiele) by publisher Computec. First issue was 09/94, released on 17. August 1994, according to MCV 09/95. According to German MCV 50/98, the UK magazine was launched on 4. September 1998 and a US version had launch parties on 2./3. December 1998. In MCV 09/98 it says that Computec has successfully set up an internationl news network ("MCV World Network") and made agreements with three former CTW employees. The article also states that by that time Stuart Dinsey had already lead CTW for 12 years. It also says that the UK-based MCV Media UK Ltd. is a subsidiary of Computec.2001:A62:141A:F400:CC1C:2FDC:BE6A:A4D1 (talk) 09:28, 20 July 2018 (UTC)

[edit]I'll delete the citation and recommend one be added... It's not the time of thing to leave a dead link up for. Event Nexus (talk) 20:28, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
