GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a. (prose, spelling, and grammar):
Left some comments, but it's mostly good already
    b. (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
    a. (reference section):
    b. (citations to reliable sources):
The (second) citation to the Theropod Database is a bare url; could you please format it in the {{Cite web}} template and add author, title, etc? And on the other citations you're inconsistent about using the {{Cite journal}} template- if you could use it for all journal citations that would be good.
    c. (OR):
    d. (copyvio and plagiarism):
Checked using Earwig, it's all good.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a. (major aspects):
    b. (focused):
It is pretty technical in places, but only as much as necessary, and it uses appropriate clarifications and extra linking.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
    a. (images are tagged and non-free content have non-free use rationales):
    b. (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Why does the caption for Paleoenvironment note that Trinisaura is in the background? Is Imperobater not in that picture?
  7. Overall:
    Pass/fail:
Everything questioned in the initial review is fixed, so I'm passing this.

(Criteria marked are unassessed)

Some other comments:

  • "Imperobator is unique, being one of two non-avian theropods known from Antarctica.." => "Imperobator is one of only two non-avian theropods known from Antarctica.."
  • "..and described initially as a dromaeosaur in 2007." => "..and initially described as a dromaeosaur in 2007."
  • "The fossils were later formally described as a new genus.." => "The fossils were formally described as a new genus.."
  • Also, when you need to make a word like mosasaur plural, you can just stick an "s" on the end instead of piping it like [[Mosasaur|mosasaurs]].
  • The only know specimen was found in 2003 but later searches found more fossils? There's a bit of a contradiction there...
  • "here, several fossiliferous exposures of marine sedimentary deposits from the Cape Lamb Member of the Snow Hill Island Formation were dug out of, the strata dating to the early Maastrictian age of the Late Cretaceous (~71 mya)." => This needs to be rephrased.
  • "Fossils of a large theropod dinosaur were unearthed in December of 2003 by a field expedition that had been mounted by the University of California Museum of Paleontology to the Naze Peninsula of James Ross Island, Antarctica to find fossils." => "Fossils of a large theropod dinosaur were unearthed in December of 2003 by a [paleontological of fossil hunting] field expedition mounted by the University of California Museum of Paleontology to the Naze Peninsula of James Ross Island, Antarctica."
  • "The fossils were unearthed in 2003, consisting mostly of an incomplete isolated.." that looks like a complete list of what fossils were found, so rephrase to "The fossils unearthed in 2003 consist of an incomplete isolated.."
  • I'm not sure that the pes featuring in a traveling exhibit is all that noteworthy.
  • "..and which is best documented in genera such as Utahraptor, Austroraptor, Deinonychus and Dakotaraptor." => "..and which is best documented in the genera Utahraptor, Austroraptor, Deinonychus and Dakotaraptor."
  • "..the lack of an ungual of the second pedal digit." Of or on the second pedal digit?
  • "Imperobator is known purely from the Cape Lamb Member of the.." => "Imperobator is known solely from the Cape Lamb Member of the.."
  • "Despite the warmer climate, the animals inhabiting Antarctica at this time would have to endure long periods of darkness during the winter, much like what happens in modern-day Antarctica." => "The animals inhabiting Antarctica at this time would still have had to endure long periods of darkness during the winter, much like in modern-day Antarctica."
  • I also made some minor edits to parts of the article. Overall, once my comments are addressed this should pass. --SilverTiger12 (talk) 02:01, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
