Merger proposal

[edit]

Received request to merge Evolved HSPA, High-Speed Downlink Packet Access, and High-Speed Uplink Packet Access into High Speed Packet Access; dated January 2016. Discuss here. GenQuest "Talk to Me" 12:01, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Rationale: @Nightwalker-87: After the merger I propose a cleanup and proper integration of the existing content. I my opinion the article High Speed Packet Access will not become too long and bloated by performing this changes. Further the content simply belongs all together.
Merged-in article High-Speed Downlink Packet Access as no opposition raised. Nightwalker-87 (talk) 20:23, 13 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Merged-in article High-Speed Uplink Packet Access as no opposition raised. Nightwalker-87 (talk) 12:42, 14 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Phase out with 3G Sunset?

[edit]

HSPA services look to be phased out with the '3G Sunset' that has already started in the US. It would help if there were somewhere that confirmed this as most websites just outline the 3G phase out. [1] Colinc1000 (talk) 15:37, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
