I recognize that one may feel quite miffed by someone marking the article as non-notable, but we do not normally delete articles on notable subjects at the subjects request. There is some latitude for the barely notable, see WP:OTRS. Given the attention paid to this work, and the articles in major journals, I however as the reviewing administrator, think the article more than borderline, and will defend it against any attempt to delete. The ultimate decision though, is that of the community as expressed at WP:AFD, not mine. Why not instead simply add a good descriptive paragraph about the work?DGG (talk) 21:01, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
