Importance of Molla
[edit]Molla is one of the most famous telugu writers. She is very important personality. She was the first famous telugu woman writer and second telugu writer only to Tallapaka Timmakka, wife of Annamacharya. She was from lower caste. Her work also shows spread of education reach during vijayanagara period to women and lower caste. So it should not be deleted, rather should be extended. When I buy books of her, I will add more info. I also continue researching. If you do not believe her, just search "Telugu Molla" on google. So please do not delete it. mlpkr 16:00, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
remove the term 'poetess'?
[edit]Can we remove the term 'poetess' from the name of this page? 'Poetess' is an outdated and rather demeaning word. Nowadays a female poet is a poet and a female author is an author: not an 'authoress'. Can we please avoid sexist language? Rimi talk contribs 18:16, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- I moved it to Molla (poet). Agreed. Molla is a disambiguation page. - Smerdis of Tlön - killing the human spirit since 2003! 23:46, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
