I believe the release date of july 2 1980 (from IMDb) to be in error. That date was a wednesday, a date which is rare to release movies on, even in summer. Vincent Canby's review states the film was released in New York theaters on june 5 1981, which was a friday.[1] Roger Ebert's review, dated November 1980 seems to also suggest the july 2 1980 date is incorrect.[2] As a film reviewer, Ebert likely saw the film in advance. This makes a november review plausible for a 1981 release, while his review of the film 4 months after it supposedly opened (july 2, 1980) implausible. In lieu of third party references showing IMDb to be in error, I've specified the New York release date as distinct from the suspect date on the main page. I've changed the release dates to those listed in the AFI Catalog, which is generally the most reliable source. BMK (talk) 22:15, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
