Translation
[edit]"A-Ba-Ni-Bi" is the "Bet" equivalent of the regular Hebrew word אני ani "I" only -- it would take a lot more syllables of "Bet language" to make the equivalent of the Hebrew words which could be translated as "I love you"... AnonMoos 14:27, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
- True, but the lyrics in the chorus run "A-ba-ni-bi o-bo-e-bev o-bo-ta-bakh", which I'm reliably informed is the entire phrase "I love you" converted to the Bet language. That said, I don't speak Hebrew, so I may be mistaken in the belief that the phrase is something line "Ani Oev [I'm sure there's a consonant here which is missing] Otakh". Translating a song title from one language to another is rarely done exactly (witness Nena singing "99 Luftballons" in German, all of which become "red" in English, despite their colour not being mentioned in the original). - A quick look at a dictionary suggests that the missing consonant is h (he). —Tamfang 06:25, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

YouTube links
[edit]This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message here, on this talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. In short: 1. 99% of the time YouTube should not be used as a source. 2. We must not link to material that violates someones copyright. If you are not sure if the link on this article should be removed, feel free to ask me on my talk page and I'll review it personally. Thanks. ---J.S (t|c) 07:08, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
