Anna Gabriel in 2016

Anna Gabriel i Sabaté (Sallent, Catalonia, 1975) is a Catalan social pedagogist, Law professor and polititian. She has been member of Catalan Parliament between 2015 and 2017, representing pro-indy Popular Unity Candidacy (CUP).[1]

In 2017 she published, with David Fernàndez, the book Al principi de tot hi ha la guerra, based on August Gil Matamala biography.[2]

After celebrating Catalonia's referendum on independence, Gabriel is been called to appear in Spanish Supreme Court in Madrid to give evidence.[1]
