The King's Dock Yard Volunteers were a British provincial military unit, raised for Loyalist service during the American Revolutionary War. They were raised in February 1780 to provide additional defences for New York. When raised, the Volunteers consisted of 161 men, consisting of three captains, four lieutenants, six sergeants and 148 privates.^[1]
