Ebitimi Ogoniba, also known as MC Senibo, is a Nigerian master of ceremonies, stand-up comedian, on-air personality, and events manager.[1][2]
Politics
[edit]Ogoniba's interest in politics began during the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign of 2014 - 2015, where he served as the master of ceremonies. In 2019, he formally registered as a member of the APC.
In 2022, he was appointed as a member of the South-South Campaign Council for President Bola Tinubu's presidential campaign. Additionally, he was named a Director in the Bayelsa East Campaign Council for Timipre Sylva's gubernatorial campaign during the 2023 elections.[3]
Philanthropy
[edit]In 2019 Ogoniba launched an annual initiative to pay the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) fees for the top 10 students of his alma mater. The initiative has since expanded to benefit 30 students in 2022, 70 students in 2023 and 2024, including 50 students from his alma mater and 20 from neighboring schools.[4][5][6]
In 2021, he constructed and equipped a library for Community Secondary School Odioma, Brass local government area, his alma mater.[7]
