E. B. Jackson (June 29, 1879 – July 12, 1947), also known as Edmund B. Jackson and Edmund Bellinger Jackson, was an American politician. He served as lieutenant governor of South Carolina from 1923 to 1927.[1]
Life and career
[edit]Jackson was born in Aiken County, South Carolina. He was a banker.[2]
In 1922, Jackson was elected to the South Carolina lieutenant governorship, succeeding Wilson Godfrey Harvey. He served until 1927, when he was succeeded by Thomas Bothwell Butler.[3][4]
Jackson died[5] on July 12, 1947, at the age of 68.
