Main article: Rare Fossil (Darkness Ablaze 167)

A Fossilized Dino is featured in the Pokémon Trading Card Game on the Rare Fossil Item card included in the Darkness Ablaze expansion, first released in the Japanese Infinity Zone expansion. It is a Fossil Trainer card, so after it is played it is put onto the Bench as a Colorless-type Basic Pokémon. It can evolve into any of the Generation VIII Fossil Pokémon: Dracozolt, Arctozolt, Dracovish, or Arctovish.

Trivia

  • Despite the English name being "Dino", plesiosaurs are not actually dinosaurs; they are marine reptiles.
  • The Pokémon revived from the Fossilized Dino have 10 extra points in their Special Attack and Special Defense stats, and 20 fewer points in Speed, compared to their counterparts revived from the Fossilized Drake.
