Bamboo Borough
Bamboo Borough (Japanese: バンブーストリート Bamboo Street) is small town with an adjacent bamboo forest in the game Detective Pikachu Returns. It is famous for its bamboo and bamboo coal which drives the local economy of the town. Tim, Rachel, and Pikachu explore Bamboo Borough to locate Jessica Miller who is targeted by Unitas for access to information about Emma Myers's research at the Pokémon Unity Lab.

Bamboo Borough is explored both in the present by Tim, and also in the past as Harry Goodman who is investigating the R incident. Tim meets his partner Pikachu in the bamboo forest.
Geography
The small town of Bamboo Borough is lined with traditional-style wooden houses in a single street. The street includes the town's famous pizzeria, as well as the charcoal shop, souvenir shop, curry shop, ceramics shop, and herbal remedy shop. A gate at the end of the street separates the town from the bamboo forest, and the key to the gate is carried by the charcoal shop owner.
The lightly forested area beyond the gates consists of paths which lead to a charcoal kiln. Some areas including a bridge are damaged due to a rampaging Pokémon, and the broken bridge can be bypassed by navigating a storage area.
